A 20mm PVC pipe, supplied to run the distance between fittings. Wall thickness and bore are held to a consistent tolerance so the fittings seat properly along the whole run. Intended for cold-water supply and distribution runs. Rigid PVC does not corrode, rust or scale. A buried run or a boxed-in riser behaves the same in year ten as on the day it was commissioned, which is why it dominates cold-water distribution. It cements into the pipe socket with solvent. Working pressure PN 10. Stocked as a single piece and compatible with the wider PVC system.
